A little about me

I’m Fern.


I was born in Illinois and raised in Oregon, with its beautiful forests, mountains, and lakes becoming my own personal backyard.

Relationship with nature


I love nature and adventure. My youth was spent hiking, camping, riding ATV's, playing in the mud and on our family friends' farms and going on road trips, it’s how I think we can reconnect our souls with the nature around us.

Photography


If nature is my first true love, photography became my second one. It started with just wanting to take pictures of sunsets, friends, animals and mountains, but I was instantly drawn to it.

Interesting Fact


Not only am I a photographer, I am also an animal welfare worker! I've working in animal welfare for about 3 years now- and I really enjoy connecting with animals and people in our community.
